Yes, we offer joint re-sanding as a follow-on to cleaning. Pressure washing dislodges loose jointing sand, so once the surface has fully dried, brushing in kiln-dried sand restores the finish and helps keep weeds out. Yes, when the right pressure is used. We adjust our approach based on the type and condition of your paving. Older or more delicate blocks get lower pressure. We'll have a look before we start and flag anything worth discussing with you first.
A properly cleaned and re-sanded driveway should look good for a couple of years depending on conditions — shade, tree coverage and traffic all play a part. Paving that has been re-sanded after cleaning tends to stay cleaner for longer as weeds and moss struggle to re-establish in properly filled joints.
